I know I haven't posted in a long time but I promise I'm going to better about posting! I've just been buried in work and I have the PSAT's on Saturday, oh the joys of being a junior. Anyway, last night I went to the launch party for MAC's new Holiday 2012 collection: Glamour Daze. The official launch date to the public is October 23rd online on the MAC website, and October 25th anywhere MAC is sold. The reason I got to go is because while me and my mom were on the hunt for the Marilyn collection, a sales lady told us that she could get us on the list for the launch party for Glamour Daze and of course we didn't say no! When we got there, they handed us a shopping list and a pen and let us in the store.
We went around looking at the new products and marked down what we wanted on the list. It was so exciting, everything in the collection is gorgeous! In the store, there were people in costume and waiters were coming around serving pink champagne and colorful macarons. I felt so glamorous it was so much fun! I definitely recommend trying to get in the next MAC launch party if you can. Ask around at your local counters. They wouldn't let me take pictures, but I managed to take a quick one from the outside with my phone that's why it's not too great. Overall, it was a great experience I hope to go to one again soon! I only got two items, the lipstick in Glamourdaze, and the Extra Dimension Skinfinish in Supurb.
